12-16 April is the most important week of the year for me : The Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia.
So Jiawa and I elected 1888 Hotel as our tempo rest net during the crazy #MBFW week, since it is so close to my long time craving Momofuku Seiobo by David Chang, Messina Ice-cream and The Sydney Morning Herald Growers’ Market, plus the beautiful bay view, so why not ?
. Do you know that this Pyrmont boutique hotel ( 1888 Hotel ) received three prestigious 2015 Travellers Choice Awards from Tripadvisor? Voted # 8 Hotel overall for Australia, # 10 Hotel for Best Service and #10 for Romance!

In my own opinion, one staying at 1888 Hotel is all about the excitement feeling of discovering this new and unique well designed space. ( probably can stay at a bigger rooms with spending much less money next time in Sydney if I have a budget )
Well but for the first impression or to say, the excitement element, this accommodation is definitely one out of a million: When you first enter the eatery and the hotel lobby, you will see this natural sun light kissed internal atrium extended all the way to this ancient buildings roof top, also to mention the history of this concrete building is coming from a wool factory back to 1888, an all these aged windows piles, and super super high ceiling etc, some details which is not included on their official website such as the free meeting room in the lobby, oversized luxury resting rooms and show rooms for your refreshment before checking in…

1888 宾馆 真是澳大利亚的独一无二的 好地方。 真的是感谢 Jiawa 找到了这个绝妙的隐秘地点。 拍照真是超级的“photogenic。看看这些岁月腐蚀的墙壁和上个世纪仅有的窗户设计。 更不用说超级拉高的屋顶，都是我经历中的第一次 。 1888 旅舍 位于皮尔茫德区， 离悉尼市中心超级近， 几乎就是一座桥之隔。 你走过来到到Pyrmond 还能看看darling harbour， 多享受吖。 在 1888 hotel 对面就是Wilson carpark， 挺方便的， reception的人听不负责任的， 没跟我们讲清楚， 害的Jiawa 多付了22刀大洋， 这是气的我气不打一出来。 哪个停车场的阿姨还说什么hotel肯定说了吖！ 啥啊！ 他说没说你咋知道呢？
反正这些排名啥的挺虚的， 感觉reception没有很professional就对了， 反正就是图个新鲜， 这hotel小的跟什么是的，只适合情侣做个那个啥吖图浪漫啥的， 跟咱没啥关系， 在mercure Ultimo 住的， 80刀一晚比他妈大出好几倍，服务态度也好出好几倍！ 呵呵， 不好意思， 老毛病又犯了。1888 旁边有Novotel还有Ibis Darling Harbour， Novotel还可以， 没啥特别的， 吃早餐的地方好像还不错， 可以看海景， 好像outdoor area吃饭浪还可以拍脸上， 神奇。
Ibis就没啥可说了。 但是Pyrmond这边好像听安静的，文艺气比较重！ 很多radio station啊， 电台报社啥的都是在这边扎营落户的。 如果你来自亚洲， 推荐住这边， 华人区咱回亚洲享受哈！
