Alex Hotel Perth, one of the best located hotels in the western capital, is all about her Hipster-meets-Vogue kind of Interior styling, personalised & private communal/guest area, cozy home-away-from-home styled rooms and custom-made bedding system.
Jiawa and I stayed at Alex Hotel while we were in Perth, here’s some photo diaries during our stay.
Things to enjoy while checking-in : Ground floor barista coffee, handmade ceramic arts and decorations, interiors, edgy and trendy magazines, free-to-use retro bikes, local maps and faux-pine room key. When you checked-in to your Alex Hotel rooms, you will find out there are no mini-bars or room services, They are pushing you down to their Mezzanine level – the guest lounge area with everything you actually needed at home – from self-served bar system to all the edgy magazines, disk players and books. and I found their breakfast is outstanding among all the hotel breakfasts. Notes: Continental breakfast is included and for free, but I found Mezzanine Level is bit crowded during weekday mornings since the room price is really fare in Perth ( more expensive than a Sydney or Melbourne average price ). So try to avoid the peaking hours ( 7 – 9 am ) for a relaxed morning with your bae. Reminder: Their check-out time is noon ( 12 pm )
- The hotel building view from her rooftop terrace.
- All Alex Hotel’s bedding system are custom made and personalised.
- There’s a reason there’s free earplugs in the bathroom, North Bridge especially William street is like Kings Cross of Sydney, it is a culture centre, if you want to make it a experience, avoid weekend stays.
Details for attention : Italian-Made Beltrami sheets, long and squishy pillows, marble-looking logo soap, ceramic tissue boxes and soap dishes handmade by perth artists…
Small & large rooms : No balconies
Medium & extra-large rooms : with balconies
A contemporary hipster-metts-vogue kind of interior running through the whole hotel:
- soft comfy pink coloured high chair and couches from Douglas and Bec.
- Dale Frances (@MadHarriest) handcrafted pottery pieces in every each Alex room.
- Sodashi Skincare from Fremantle for all the guest rooms
