Peacock Pavilions is a handmade, artisanal boutique hotel in an olive grove on the outskirts of Marrakech. Part of the M.Montague offerings, Peacock Pavilions was designed and built by American author, blogger and designer, Maryam Montague, and her American husband, Chris Redecke.
The hotel, like the rest of M.Montague brand, supports Project Soar, a non-profit organization established the couple to empower local Moroccan girls through art and sports, as well as health and English language education.
Maryam, her husband, and two children continue to live at Peacock Pavilions where they share their own slice of a Marrakesh oasis with resident peacocks Maurice, Persephone and Gigi, five cats, one mischievous yellow lab, and any guests lucky enough to be stopping through.

We visited Riad Idra for afternoon tea with a group of friends. The riad staff were super lovely and friendly, and the cookies taste so good here! The riad interior and exterior are kept very minimal and clean, most things at Riad Idra are white with a little bit turquoise here and there as decorations. The entire riad gives a very chilled vibes, very quiet and relaxing. We also bumped into this super photogenic smart cat who decided to live here (he came from the streets of the Souk). Also Riad Idra is super close to the famous restaurant Le Jardin Marrakech, so the location is kind of 10/10 for tourists who are obsessed with the old Souk.
Marrakech is yet my second favourite place to be on earth. This exotic North African beauty fits almost everybody’s desire for travel and inspiration – whether you want a luxury getaway or a budget hostel, you can find them here in Marrakech.

Scarabeo Camp, one of the most most amazing amazing places I have ever been in Marrakech. You probably have seen Scarabeo Camp from so many other bloggers Instagram account as well, but I have to tell you: you have to try! Jnane Tamsna Resort is a yellow gem deeply hidden among all the dry-palms in Marrakech, Morocco. It is only about half an hour drive from Medina or Marrakech city centre. It is the perfect place for people who are sick of city life or want to just do nothing but relax or enjoy family and friends companies. The whole place is like a secret garden, you will easily get lost here the first few days. As villas and rooms are all separate far from each other for maximum privacy, and the only way to each other are by the little bush walks across all the plants, gardens and fences. You can always hear birds above you while enjoying the bush walk or the private swimming pool. Or maybe a quick desert tour among all the dry palms with camels?
