Hong Kong is so tiny, but there are way too many crazy things to do and crazy food to try – for example, I had the world’s most expensive chocolate here!
Since Hong Kong is an International transit centre, it is perfect for friends catching up and taking a holiday here together! That is actually why Lily Rose are here – since we decided to meet at the middle. Hong Kong is a tax free zone, plus its tourist-friendly custom policies, visiting Hong Kong is easier than visiting many other places on earth. Hong Kong International Airport is also one of the most traveller-friendly airports in the world – it took us 20 minutes from the airport to W Hong Kong – where we are staying while in Hong Kong.
Talking about the W Hong Kong, it is a hotel focus on fashion, style and art. It also owns Hong Kong’s highest rooftop pool as well, if you ever heard the best pool party is going on tonight, it has to be held here at W Hong Kong. Here are some things we experienced while in Hong Kong:
1. Shaking off the jet-lags in the highest swimming pool (level 76) at W Hong Kong with a crazy city view.
2. Sunrise jog at the Peak.
3. Tried the world’s most expensive chocolate at Sake Central.
4. Taking a 20cents ferry with 200 dollar view.
5. Didn’t make to the Hong Kong Disney Land, but watched Frozen again in bed at W HK.
6. Visited The Instagram Pier, where we took so many Instagram friendly photos, also made lots of doggo friends there. It is also very close to where you can take a ferry.
7. Visited Hong Kong Aquarium and Pet market (香港金鱼市场) where all the colourful tropical and gold fish are packed in plastic bags ready to be taken home.
8. Had the best Blood Mary ever at the Butler Japanese Bar.
9. Visited the Choi Hung Estate basketball field. One of the most iconic and photogenic places in Hong Kong, it is as beautiful and unique as people says, try to come here as early as possible, you will see local people having a real life here before tourists and bloggers hit in.
That’s enough for 3-5 days visit in Hong Kong, there are definitely more to do in Hong Kong, especially if you want to add shopping days or food experiences, but as mentioned above, it is a very expensive place to be. Lily Rose and I had a comparably generous space to relax and rest at the W Hong Kong – as you know, the space here in Hong Kong is always wanted. Can’t wait to come back to Hong Kong for more!
