Complains from healthy food addicts including always say no to eat-out as our trust-issues with random cafes’ ingredients and material source;
secondly few healthy cafes in our suburbs serving the needs in rush hours with a efficient making procedure. But thanks to Hale & Hearty Cafe from waterloo, this problem seems like solved for people who live near by, and I believe they will open a few very soon since this is exactly what we need – healthy, tasty and speedy meal for city people. Don’t worry if you are not a healthy-food lover, a bite on their veggie burger will have you looking for jaws on the cafe floor.
“I am just happy seeing some healthy-living people finally can eat at a place without asking all the ingredients on and off the menu,” says this 4 months old cafe owner, Mark, whose passion is to open a fast serving healthy food chain for Australian.
Most food here at Hale and Hearty Waterloo are gluten and dairy free, such as the mango and coconut yogurt pancake we ordered, is made of coconut sugar, coconut milk and a rice based flour, cooked in organic coconut oil and served with organic maple syrup. and most other dishes here are cooked with grape-seed oil and fresh ingredients.
I also tried the most tasty vegetarian burger in my life here, which is also gluten free and cooked in grape-seed oil, made of red lentil, Chicpea patty, grilled haloumi, marinated eggplant, spinach leaves and aioli. We planned to leave at Hale and Hearty cafe at 7:30 pm but ended up talking to Mark until 9:30, there are too much fun here just for meeting people who enjoy healthy meal.
