There are lots of tourist spots does airport direct transfer, so make sure you check/book before you take all the way to Launceston Transit Centre / CBD area. Do not carry any fruits, honey, vegetables or seeds to Tasmania, that include your suitcases.
Seaport & Tamar River If you love Tamar River, Seafood or sailing, visit Launceston Seaport, there are also accomodations and cafes / restaurants here. Peppers hotel and resort group Seaport, The CUBE Cafe etc.

Beautiful and spacious interior, New indoor & outdoor furnitures, white tables and warm outdoor areas. The Squid salad and chips tastes good, but the look was regular, service is basic.
Launceston CBD is small but the streets are all clean and organised, some beautiful spots are worthing checking out and photo takings.
