Recently I had a friend in his 30s came to me for wardrobe advise. He’s one of these gents who dress expensive but does not lose bit fun in their outfits, always buy smart casual and classic pieces when shopping for their clothes. Like he’d dare to try some fresh trends and colours such as floral, pastel, pink, bright maroon and mustard; but he’s still very much into polo and cable knit kinda person. I recommended him a pair of Uniqlo camel trousers, he looks at me confused: “Really? looks plain and boring”.
We need to understand, for brands like Uniqlo Australia, it is not a designer brand would bring you runway statement pieces, but it is the brand helps you to pull off runway statement pieces and build up a lifestyle, it is a brand about low-profile, back-to-basics entertaining. Every garment mirrors the way a minimalist feels a great life should be: comfortable, slow, sensitive and engaging.
So I recommended this friend a pair of Uniqlo camel trousers is because: Most of his clothes are in colder tones, such as blue, white and maroon; Secondly, he intends to buy more camel and brown coats and suits. A few pair of camel colours as wardrobe basics would definitely provide him with more choices for his outfits in the coming months.
In the past a few months , Uniqlo helped me builded a easy, relaxing, minimal and efficient wardrobe. In the colder days, I had Uniqlo Heating tech and their French linen collections for the warmer days. See below for my journey and collection with Uniqlo Australia.
