THE MOST ICONIC CAFES & RESTAURANTS YOU CAN’T MISS OUT IN MELBOURNE

May 4, 2015

Melbourne is not as big as Sydney, but the coffee and brunch scenes are so strong that some of my Sydney friends would come to Melbourne for a good weekend feed. They recommended the following TOP 5 places, comment below if you have different opinions.

THE KETTLE BLACK COVER 1. The Kettle Black ( Photo Above )    It is the place even Sydney people talk about, so if you haven’t visited, make sure your friends don’t know.  BROTHER BABA BUDAN COVER 2. Brother Baba Budan ( Photo Above )  It is just cross street from Melbourne GPO, and it is just as amazing as GPO. supernormal COVER

3. Supernormal ( Photo Above )

Personally, I would put SuperNormal as my own Number.1. From interior to the details of the food to the location, everything is almost perfect except it is too popular and sometimes there are so many people. hehe. FLIPBOARD CAFE

4. Flipboard Cafe ( Photo Above )  It is cute, different, great morning appetiser such as cute pies etc… It is a very Melbourne place. MAMA'S BUOI 5. MAMA’S BOUI Melbourne: G25 Postal Lane, Melbourne’s GPO.  Sydney: 116 Devonshire Street, Surry Hills Also available in Surry Hills, this place is so popular that even appeared on Margaret Zhang’s Insta, so.. yeah I am not a big fan of Vietnamese food, but the food here, I am a very big fan! Located just next to the H&M in the lane ways.    HOPETOUN TEA ROOMS 6. Hopetoun Tea Rooms ( Photo Above )    The Block Arcade, 1-2/282 Collins St, Melbourne VIC 3000 “Representing some of central Melbourne’s most charming late 19th century history, the Block Arcade site was purchased for 18 pounds in 1891 and a small tea room was set-up for the Victorian Ladies Work Association. Named after its founder Lady Hopetoun, The Hopetoun Tea Rooms continues the proud tradition of quality, combining old world charm with the heritage of fine food amidst the tranquil beauty of the fully restored Block Arcade.”
