So eventually, after all fall 2014 shows are announced and published, I eventually can show a little bit about FW2012. (laugh)

But you(I) know, that blogging (up to date) aint easy!

Style.com has concluded that FW2012 RTW :

1. has proposed new silhouettes with exaggerated, even challenging proportions

2. It has deliberately trafficked in items of questionable taste.

3. been continuing to emphasize fabric research.

I have been so obsessed with neoprene sweaters since seeing Balenciaga Egyptofunk collection from their Fall Winter 2012 collection. And of course I was so desperate to find one replacement.

Actually, it is not just the material of being neoprene that I am obsessed with, but that the structure of these oversized sweats’ cuttings that neoprene can hold up. After the show, a keywords search via google, ebay or stylebubble has boomed.

Such as

Cocoon shaped,

structured,

oversized,

hard material-ed,

scuba material-ed,

wetsuit material-ed,

boyfriend-ed,

drop shoulderish-ed,

sculptural padded

sweaters !

For FW 2012’s House of Balenciaga, either a jacquard snake on the wool alike jackets or comic slogans, spacey prints, I did not care about them very much, all my eyes are on these chunky sleeves, round-shaped body cuttings and shining satin alike scuba material, they are the most amazing parts happened in 2012, and I thought that’s it, but I was wrong, the oversized trend is back again in AW 2014.

I am not sure what exactly this neon yellow kimono jacket is

but it looks like a whole piece of neon neoprene folded up.

Seriously? I mean OMG! Look at this skirt!

Firstly I was just going through all the neoprene material alike pieces at Farfetch,

but did not expect that I would see something amazing like this.

There are many similar piece on farfetch,

many other “wearable’ pieces flagged with

neoprene material, while if a neoprene piece without a oversized or structured design,

it is wasting the material, in my opinion.

So, please hold up the structures,

make them as far as possible from our skin.

That is all neoprene should be about.

Go back to this skirt, as I said, most of similar items are just using “neoprene”,

but they are not really using the material.

Maybe not everyone is chasing this kind of

dramatic, big, huge, shocking “A”shaped design?

This also reminds me a piece of Sass&bide doll look dress with a structured hem

That kind of skirts look like there are wires in circles hidden in their hems.

Dejour Jeans at 542 Sydney Rd in Brunswick, is the ONLY place to buy jeans. But seriously, why would fork out for big name brands when you can have your choice of cut and colour denim and then have them tailor made to your specifications within the hour?? A pair will set you back just $50 including alterations. The store is basic – lots of jeans – and the staff are friendly, quick and they know their stuff. Pay them a visit on a week day and you will be the proud owner of the most flattering jeans you ever owned within an hour, on weekends it gets busy so the alterations may take a little longer, giving you a chance to explore Sydney Rd’s eclectic mix of clothing stores and delicious eateries. We treated ourselves to lunch at the Green Refectory, 115 Sydney Rd, Brunswick. The vibrant atmosphere and tasty food in their cabinets are enough to tempt any weary shopper…. check out the courtyard in the back and find a leafy hideaway off the busy street.

Military Summer

So, have not updated my blog for weeks, since I only had time to check howtwolive’s everyday!

This is my second time visiting Brunswick street, nothing surprisingly good, but still lots to explore and many items to put a lot on the shopping list! A stroll around the area resulted in the discovery of vibrant street art on every sunny corner, the perfect backdrop for an impromptu shoot!

Opening hours:

Weekdays open 11 am

Weekends open for breakfast from 9 am.

They have cool interior designs, DIY fruit and veggie drinks, and friendly staff. My favourite part about this cafe is that they have their cool bathroom/ water system! Go check them out!

A DIY watermelon, ginger and apple juice is around 7 dollars.

Can’t believe how fast it is, mother fucker, I am getting older and older, it is the most scariest thing in my life. LOSE. Losing time, friends, family, money, fame.
Half of 2013 passed by, I have yet written much here, so I try to as much as possible to bullshit today. Ha~
A very good excuse for not taking new outfits: only uploading photos from 2013 January – June, ha, how smart I am.

It is a great time to clean up my hard-drive, editing old photos and organising my brain for new ideas about the whole outfits concepts, rather than continuing on picking up random stuffs from sales.

Yeah, Im gonna miss out 2013 Spring / Summer’s sales for sure.

It may work for all other countries that all the outfits I am posting here right now are “summer” since it was all about the passing February – March 13, are they almost out of trend? I guess at least some of them.
Versus is out, but I am still wearing Versace x H&M. Sad face.
