Paul Smith has always been one of my favourite designer brand since I was very young, I had one of the earliest Mini Cooper printed messenger bag and I was super obsessed with the amazing prints created on their washbags!
The Latest Spring Summer men’s collection from Paul Smith is inspired by the mother earth and the nature – thinking about a blooming garden, rainforest and ocean bottom. I spot lots of fish in vibrant colours and bald flowers prints. The Micro-ripstop messenger bag is one of my favourite, since the unique printed leather strap with “Tuna” allover, remind me of retro Japanese tuna can.
Let’s talk about the functionality of this messenger bag. There are so many push-button pockets and zipper pockets on this bag, this bag seems to be designed for a very busy traveller and who never had time to organise his (very important) personal items! Now this traveller can easily seperate his used metro ticket, un-used metro tickets, passports, credit cards and coins! Everything is in own place and it makes his daily life so much easier and efficient! I have never experienced such smooth zippers actually (no kidding!), which is super important for a luxury branded item! It is not just about the look, but also how pleasant it is to use it day to day. It makes me enjoy this bag even more.
The size of the “OCEAN” bag is also very generous, it holds my giant Mac 15″ with no problem, and since it comes with a wide shoulder strap, so it won’t hurt my shoulder as much!
Since the bag is made with nylon, so it is super light-weighted by itself, I can easily pack it in my suitcase when I am flying and it won’t take much space nor weight for storage neither. Since the shoulder strap is detachable, I can easily use the strap by itself (or with another bag) as a fashion item.
