HOTELS & RESORTS
Unlike other European countries and Australian hotels I have experienced before, the registration for guests accommodating are extremely strict which I have experienced all at all the five-star hotels I stayed at in Marrakech. When brought my photographer Anas back to me hotel room, I got calls from reception immediately requesting for registration and security clearance. SELMAN hotel has one of the best swimming pools in Marrakech which is suitable for those who are regular swimmers (it is a long ass 80-metres swimming pool but you can’t tumble turn though as it is shallow on both ends). There’s great service from the hotel team as everybody is extremely professional. There’s also a nice relaxing spa and high-tech new-equipment-filled gym, but the gym space is quite small compared to other five-star hotels. [Read everything about SELMAN here]
ES SAADI Marrakech RESORT & SPA
There is a great fitness centre and gym area and outstanding spa facilities. In fact, it is one of the biggest in Marrakech (competitive with Fairmont Royal Palms Hotel). More details in this blog post.
FAIRMONT ROYAL PALM MARRAKECH RESORT AND HOTEL
This massive hotel has an impressive stand-alone gym facility and a huge Clarins spa with also huge spa pool. The hotel has lots of stand-alone suites and every time you get in and out of your suites, it will require transportation to the reception.
A great hide-away resort when you spending on a budget, but please bring food with you, as there is nowhere to go for shopping. Read the details about Jnane Tamsna resort here.
The great thing about AIRBNBs in Morocco is that you can experience the true local lifestyle and houses yourself.
