Perth has a lot to offer to its locals and travellers. Along with great restaurants, beaches, weather and nightlife the hotel industry has especially heightened its game with spectacular interior. Bloggers Boyfriend stayed at one hotspot “The Lodging” in Fremantle and is now dying to share with you!
Need to find a place to hold your small wedding party or need a spot to gather a large family/close friends for something special? What about just for a quick romantic weekend getaway? In the heart of Fremantle, The Lodging, a guesthouse which has all the ‘Pinterest-able’ interiors you can only imagine, is currently landing on all the covers and features of all the interior magazines and jet-setters tick lists.
It’s a place that’s like a breath of fresh air, with clean and minimal style and white panache décor with accents of dusty and nude pink touches. However, if you look down and you will see all the timber floors are painted in black. You can tell the interior designer, Jane is a fan of Jane Birkin with photos of Birkin hung up around the lodgement. A modern, luxury lodging guesthouse with communal setting featuring a stylish lounge, dining, kitchen and courtyard is right in Fremantle.What will make this place even more perfect: we are imagining a bath-tub for ultra-luxury and relaxtion and also wishing there is a guest laundry.Whether you decide to rent exclusively or per night, it’s the ideal place for the adults to gather for preferably a special occasion (unfortunately don’t recommend to bring along children). Stay as long as you wish in this multifunctional lodging place which occupies an original late 1800’s terrace with four suites, five bedrooms and fitting for ten adults to sleep in the beds.
Tips: Our favourite suite among the four is suite 2 upstairs as it is the only guest room with a terrace house balcony. It’s perfect for a “two-person” romantic getaway. Can you imagine waking up and having coffee on the terrace house’s balcony! For the solo or business travellers, we would recommend suite 1 as it has a separate study / living area from the bedroom or someone who wants their privacy as their is is a private back door directly go to carpark at the back of the lodging guesthouse.
If you are deciding to travel to the Perth’s city area, it’s only quick a walking distance to the train station and only 30 mins travelling to the city. It is also conveniently close to the Fremantle Market and Fremantle Shopping Centre. Book The Lodging here.
