I highlighted my hair recently just as my black hair can not show the textures of my hair style nicely. As I have thick, hard and strong asian black hair, I had to use blonde bleaching cream to create this medium to dark brown look. ( leave on for only 20 minutes or less in case they turn yellow or blonde )
Step 1.
I used Schwarzkopf Ultimate Keratin Mousse when blowing dry, it is a very light weighted mousse when it is done and give a very matt finish. ( I recommend for a relaxed hair style or wakeup effortless messy look, as the matt finish is not really a shining and glamorous look )
Step 2. LYNX casual styling clay for a reworkable matt look. I use this mainly to add textures to the ends of my hair to make sure my hair does not go overly fuz.
Step 3. Finish with Schwarzkoph Ultimate Keratin Hairspray. ( It is the black bottle 5/5 Maxi Hold ) By the way, I used the purple bottle before and I believe it was 5/5 hold as well, but the purple bottle is not with Keratin, and the smell of the purple bottle is really strong in a not good way. So that’s why I had to switch to the black bottle ( Ultimate Keratin )
Plus : I had been looking for “hair softener” for a long time, and so far the Schwarzkoph 11 in 1 BB cream has been working like magic. I only use it for date night as I use a crazy amount on my hair without any styling products, so my hair become super smooth and sleek no matter who touches it.
